Time to get back to business!!!

Things have been a bit crazy around our house this summer. With the arrival of cooler temperatures, back to school and the the change of seasons our family is back in routine mode.

I have been terribly negligent in keeping my poor blog up to date, BUT I am very excited to get back at it! I have a summer full of photos to share with you! So many wonderful shots, I don't even know where to start!!

Here is one of my most favorite portraits of my youngest son, a rather impromtu photo shoot that produced MAGICAL results!!

And the SEASON of memories begins.......

I am welcoming spring with wide open arms!! I do not play much with my camera outdoors in the winter, so this warmer weather is a much welcomed gift for me! I am very excited to get outside and start shooting again.

The bookings are beginning, as the weather improves I find myself busy with clients!! This is so exciting for me as each session is a new adventure!!  Each group provides different creative opportunities & I am always like a kid christmas morning when I finish up each session.  I simply can not wait to get home and download my new picture treasures!!

Waiting for SPRING!

It has been a very long and cold winter!! With April here and half way over...I have been desperately awaiting for some sign of spring. Sadly mother nature has continued to deliver cold, snowy weather!

I couldn't resist my desire for fresh cut tulips, so I decided a trip to the florist was just the trick!!

Outdoor Adventures in Jasper National Park

I will admit that I am not much of an outdoors adventurer, BUT this past weekend I FINALLY took in the spectacular sites of the Maligne Canyon in Jasper, Alberta.  ONLY to ask myself WHY I have not taken this hike sooner....considering I am only 45 minutes from the breathtaking beauty of the Alberta rockies.

I am very excited to share with you a few photos from my hike a top & inside of the canyon. I highly recommend this hike BUT do encourage the rentals of ice grips. The hike was absolutely breathtaking and the view spectacular BUT did require extra caution as the warmer weather created for slippier conditions.

My first SPRING photo shoot

I had the great pleasure of working with baby ashley this weekend!! she is such a gem & such a wonderful little model!  Although she is on the MOVE now, so photographing her is a bit more difficult...keeping her still is definately a challenge!  The shoot was so rewarding and I truly enjoyed the opportunity!

Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my photography blog! I am very excited to get this up and running...I have been procrastinating and have finally put one foot in front of the other!

Please be patient with me as I get everything organized and placed just so. I will be adding a large assortment of photography for your viewing pleasure.  I would like to thank ALL of my models who have so willingly allowed me to post these images...it is because of YOU that I can be successfully creative!

Photography is not a new hobby for me BUT is simply a NEW found PASSION! I have been diligently training and studying to become better at what I love. I hope that my efforts can be seen through my images.  As I grow and become better acquainted with my camera and its many many many features...I would love to hear from you!
